Grenache noir – 67%, Syrah – 33%​


Color: Garnet red colour, slightly copper reflections.

Nose: Elegant, complex, notes of caramel, anise, liquorice and roasted chestnut.

Mouth: Supple attack, fine tannins, great sweetness, long persistence, warm finish, the quintessence of Grenache noir.


Pairings: Foie gras, canard à l'orange, tournedos Rossini, black forest.

Best serve at: 18°C – Decant 30 min before tasting

Degraded blue and gray shales exposed North-West.

Vines planted on the terrace, pruned in goblet, worked entirely by hand.

Average age of the vines: 80 years.

Vinification & aging process

Selection of the best plots of our colliourenc terroir.

Manual harvest in boxes of 10 kg.

Storage of the grapes for 48 hours at 5 degrees in a refrigerated room.

Manual sorting and placing in French oak barrels (500 litres) with separation by grape variety.

Slow fermentation at low temperature with daily punching down.

Five to six week maceration.

Assembly of free-run and press juices.

18 to 24 months of aging in barrels then 6 months of rest in vats before bottling.
